Educational Opportunities for Children and Youth

Sunday School is Sundays from 9:30 am until 11:00 am

Henry S. Jacobs Camp-Institute for Living Judaism is the Reform Jewish Movement’s summer camp serving the Deep South: Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Western Tennessee. Since 1970, Jacobs Camp has been providing a caring Jewish community that builds young people. Our camp program has a profound impact on our campers. The opportunity to live as part of a close-knit community and develop new skills, assisted by a dynamic and enthusiastic staff, coupled with Jewish values and the development of one’s Jewish identity result in the experience of a lifetime!

If you have an interest in sharing your knowledge and experience with our children, your participation is very welcome. Possible areas of study include, but are not limited to Bible Stories, Jewish History, Holidays, Prayers for Services, Hebrew Songs, Jewish Life Cycle, Jewish Values and Ethics, Israel, reading and speaking Hebrew.
